this is a more in-depth list of my stream rules. i know this may seem like a long list, but these are rules because each of these things has happened in stream at least once before (and honestly, it's mostly common sense). these rules are in place to keep myself and my community safe & comfortable. thank you for reading & understanding ♡
1) refer to me only as hoobsie ━━━
not my real name if you know it, and no pet names such as hun, love, sweetie, sweetheart, etc. it's ew & uncomfortable.
2) be kind ━━━
this also means to yourself! how we speak about ourselves (especially self-deprication) can trick our brains into believing bad things! this can also affect those around us, as well, so please just be mindful! ANY form of hate speech will NOT be tolerated including (but not limited to) homophobia, transphobia, ableism, antisemitism, fatphobia, xenophobia, misogyny, etc.
3) be mindful of the language you use & refrain from ableist terms

4) 18+ !!! ━━━
we regularly play mature-rated games & often have adult/serious discussions. absolutely NO age talk or sharing personal identifiers (specific location, full legal name, etc.) & ABSOLUTELY NO JOKING ABOUT BEING UNDERAGE (this is against TOS and could get you banned from Twitch)! if you are a minor: please please PLEASE don't tell anyone your age anywhere online. the internet is a very scary place & i want you to be safe!
5) be mindful of tone/no sarcasm

7) no trauma dumping ━━━

15) don't complain about ads ━━━

and no, i won't send you parts of my clips/my vods for your own content.
17) no 'stream sniping' ━━━
this is a way people try to gain an advantage in an online game by watching an opponent's POV via their livestream. if you are doing it in an obvious way or if you are even suspected to be stream sniping (i.e. a mod notices you lurking), you will be banned. if you're wanting to say 'hi' or 'gg,' we'd love that! just kindly wait until the match is over to avoid any potential suspicion. we just want to help keep gaming fun and fair for everyone! thank you!
18) no discussion about guns ━━━
this is a very anti-gun space. the state of our world is an absolute nightmare. no one cares that you own a gun. don't talk about it in chat or you will be banned.
19) don't be weird ━━━
streaming is a very grey/nuanced thing & it can be very difficult to navigate. while i care for my community very much & appreciate any form of support, i try my best to avoid any parasocial stuff. please try your best to do the same so everyone can feel comfortable! if you have questions on my boundaries/where the line is, please don't hesitate to ask!
20) do not ask for subs/money/gifts/etc. from me, mods, or other viewers ━━━
yes this has happened. it's very uncomfortable. even if not blatantly asking, we can tell when you're being surreptitious. just don't do it.

how long have you been streaming for?
i actually streamed for the first time in 2021 on a different channel! i didn't take streaming "seriously" until 2022, though, and ultimately decided to start fresh with a brand new channel (my current one) in 2023 after a big life change!what drew you to streaming?
i loved watching my brother play games when i was little, & then i tried for myself & became obsessed with Spyro! as i got older, i started really enjoying watching 'Let's Play' YouTubers playing horror games, & eventually discovered Twitch!what was the first game you streamed?

i actually used to always stream with a cam, but i noticed i never truly felt comfortable or "myself" due to involuntarily masking & being worried about what people think of me, and i would often cancel streams. i enjoy streaming MUCH more without a cam & i think that's very evident! i may try again sometime in the future, though!what other horror games have you streamed?
Resident Evil 2, Little Nightmares 1 & 2, Poppy Playtime, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Casting of Frank Stone. very excited to play more horror games tho, and i've become somewhat of a completionist lol so i'm always open to suggestions for new games! :3

how long have you been playing & what made you start?
i first started playing in january 2021! i was introduced to it by someone i briefly dated who didn't want to play with me lol so i started out only playing killer until i met pals online who also liked to play! dbd has been my comfort game ever since, which sounds funny i know, considering the nature of the game, but i find the chaos of it helps quiet my brain more than any other game/thing. it's also such a great game to stream because it allows me to still engage with chat (which is always my main priority).do you main killer, survivor, or both?
i main survivor but occassionally play killer~ usually if i need a break due to the lobbies being really sweaty or killers being toxic lol, or if i'm trying to unlock an achievement!who are your survivor/killer mains?
survivor: jeff 4ever & killer: ghostface/pig.most favourite & least favourite killer to go against & why?
most favourite: billy & blight. they go nyoom & looping them is very fun! least favourite: trickster, legion, & skull merchant. i just feel completely helpless against them all lmao.what are your favourite perks?
my staple survivor perk that i always have is deja vu, but i like a lot of different perks! a few of my current favourites are botany knowledge, adrenaline, and self-care (controversial, i know lol). i'm not sure i really have any favourites for killer, though, except maybe lightborn because click click click lol. i like to try out lots of different perks whenever i play killer! a lil fun fact: i don't know the majority of perks/what they do even after playing for 3 years lol.what is your playstyle/are you competitive?
i just play to have fun! i'm not competitive with other players, only with myself~ i'm always trying to complete challenges & unlock achievements. i think the community has gotten so toxic & too many people take the game WAY too seriously, it really ruins the fun of it. some people should just not play pvp games imo.do you ever host open lobbies?

i'm currently working on getting 100% for the steam achievements (i have 1 LEFT) & i have always wanted the twitch shirts/charms in dbd since i started playing :') a VERY big dream would be to someday become a fog whisperer! ♡→ in summary: i love dead by daylight so very much, and i play to have fun! i'm in no way an 'educational streamer' or an 'expert' so i probably won't have good advice for you, but a lot of our community is very knowledgable and welcoming, and we love talking about all things dbd so please don't be scared to chat with us or even join in when we have open lobbies! our lobbies are strictly for fun~ never any expectations, pressures, etc. and no level or skill requirement! ☺

please read thru & respect them so everyone can have fun. thank you! ☺
→ if you'd like to join in our lobbies, you must redeem a 'lobby ticket' in the channel point redemptions for 666 points. in order to obtain these points, you need to stick around in stream for a little while. a ticket allows you 3 matches and we will rotate other people in so that it is fair & everyone gets a chance to play. once you are done your 3 matches, you are welcome to re-queue. (note: i will only allow those i feel comfortable playing with to join, regardless if you have a ticket or not.)→ please refrain from dc'ing as much as possible. we are aware that certain characters in the game can be triggering (example: 'the plague' & ' the doctor') and understand if you need to leave for that reason. if you do need to leave due to a specific trigger, we kindly ask that you dc instead of purposefully sacrificing so at least a bot will be in match. please don't ever dc or purposefully sacrifice yourself just because you don't want to go against a specific character or due to 'rage quitting'.→ if you need to go afk, please kindly remove yourself from the lobby so that others aren't left waiting. you are welcome to re-queue when you get back!→ please always be respectful towards other players (this includes during the match, after in endgame chat, and in stream chat). absolutely no hate speech or bad sportsmanship (example: talking bad about/making fun of how someone is playing). please don't go into other streamers' chats and be disrespectful or try to gain an advantage by sniping, either. when in my lobbies, you are also representing me and my community, so please always be kind or you will be banned from joining in the future.→ open lobbies are to have FUN! this is not the time nor place to be competitive. if that is what you are focused on (which is completely valid), please do not join. we are not here to 'sweat' or be stressed out, this ruins the fun for everyone.
